UP takes you on an exotic adventure with Carl Fredricksen and his young sidekick, Wilderness Explorer Russell, as they set off on a wild journey through the undiscovered jungles of South America.

Experience all four main characters from the movie -- Carl, Russell, Dug the lovable dog or Kevin the prehistoric bird -- while playing in single-player or with a friend cooperatively throughout the entire game.

Encounter exciting, new environments as you navigate through treacherous jungle terrains, battle dangerous creatures and trek the slippery slopes of the Amazonian Tepuis.

UP also features multi-player game modes, including an epic level that allows up to four players to compete in aerial combat.

UP the videogame is out today, and to celebrate the launch we’re giving you the chance to win a ride in the UP hot air balloon!

We’ve got two prizes to be won. Each prize includes two tickets – one for you and one for your friend or parent / guardian - to ride in the UP hot air balloon. The flight will take place between 13-21 February 2010 from a launch site based in the UK, and you’ll get to spend around 40 minutes in the air in a balloon modeled on the one from the film.

To enter the competition, all you need to do is register your copy of UP on THQ.com. If you haven’t registered a game with us before, follow these simple steps...

Step 1
Login to your myTHQ account. If you don’t have an account already, click here to create one. It’s free and, as a myTHQ member, you’ll get exclusive access to cool competitions like this one.

Step 2
Register your game. You can do that by clicking here. To register your game, select the platform using the drop down menu, type “UP” to search, select your game from the list and click Submit.

After registering, you’ll automatically be taken to your game list, which will now include UP. You’re now entered into the competition! The competition closes at midnight on 31 December 2009, and we’ll be drawing the two winners at the start of next year.

Passengers must be at least 16 years old to fly (passengers between 10-16 must be accompanied by an adult. This prize includes the balloon ride only; travel costs, food and any accommodation needed will not be covered as part of the prize. The pilot reserves the right to cancel the flight if it cannot be conducted safely.
