Ten years after the events of Chaos Rising and the fall of the Blood Raven’s Chapter Master to the forces of Chaos, Sub-Sector Aurelia remains in a constant state of warfare.  The pirate Freebooter Orks have arrived to take advantage of this and loot the sector, the vile forces of Chaos continue to spread their blasphemy, the Eldar of Craftworld Alaitoc work to recover key artifacts from their past and the feral Tyranids remaining from the failed Hive fleet invasion have suddenly re-established contact with the Hive mind.

This special edition includes a code to unlock 4 unique ability and wargear items to equip your squads with to enhance your single player campaign:

• Venomous Talons – Attacks upon the enemy now have a guaranteed chance to stun and poison them for a short duration.
• Poisonous Cysts – After taking a fixed amount of melee damage your Swarmlord will now spray a poison cloud that damages your enemies.
• Shadow in the Warp – When hit you now convert some of that damage to energy to power your abilities.
• Warp Field – Calls forth an energy shield to protect your character from damage.
